With its rich range of local breweries offering their distinct micro-brews and seasonal beers, the Isle of Man is a great holiday location to visit for the beer connoisseur and the IOM CAMRA Beer & Cider Festival offers an ideal chance to taste a range of beers and ciders and compare them.
The festival itself is fairly new and will be in its 5th year in 2016 but is already very popular both with locals and visiting holidaymakers. The festival itself features over 150 real ales, ciders & fruit wines so even the most experienced taster will have to carefully pick and choose which they want to try samples of.
In 2014 the festival had over 3000 people attending and over 10,500 pints were sold, so it is well worth getting your tickets in advance to ensure entry. Tickets can be purchased from the Villa Marina, the website, or on the door. It is also important to note that the bar is cashless and payment during the festival is by token which can be purchased from the Villa Marina.
In addition to the range of drinks available food in served in the Colonnade Suite upstairs and there is music in the Royal Hall for when you want a break from the beer buying crowds.
