The Isle of Man is a hugely popular destination for fitness enthusiasts with cycling events such as the Isle of Man Cyclefest, and endurance walking events like the Parish Walk and End to End walk. A more relaxed and fun alternative to these, that still gets the entire family moving, is a day at the Ape Mann Adventure Park.
Set in South Barrule, one of the largest plantations on the Island, this offers activities for all the family in a great outdoor setting. Combined with a continuous lifeline which means no clipping on and off between activities and no break in the fun.
As well as having one of the UK's highest sets of Monkey tree climbing hardware, they also have a 300 foot long zip wire, suitable for children and adults alike.
Based in the South of the Island the Ape Mann location makes it great for visiting as part of a tour round the southern villages, perhaps even renting a bike to travel to some of the off-road locations and other plantations.
Further information can be found on the Ape Mann Adventure Park website.
