Open 7 days a week, Tynwald Mills, founded in 1975 and the only department store on the Isle of Man, is the ideal place for a spot of shopping during your Manx trip. Based around Tynwald Hill the village is a centre point to Manx History and culture and home to the worlds oldest running parliament.
In addition to a range of brands including Oasis, Gant and Ted Baker there are plenty of local items available for souvenirs. After a morning of shopping the location has 2 cafe's to choose from for a bite to eat or a light lunch.
The Cat offers a range of snacks and sandwiches as well as all day breakfast options if you are self-catering during your visit and looking for somewhere to start the day off. The Neb cafe offers a range of more traditional meals, jacket potatoes and salads. There is also a deli with over 75 cheeses to choose from if you want to take something back with you.
In addition to the regular shops and dining options there are regular events that are worth a visit during your holiday. The Farmers Market runs every Thursday and is very popular both with locals and visitors. The Isle Gallery is also popular and hosts artist’s demonstrations and regular events.
