Known globally as the ‘Road Race Capital of the World’ and a motorsport mecca, every May and June tens of thousands of motorcycling fans descend on the Island for the TT races.
If you plan to visit the Island at this time, we strongly recommend you book your travel and accommodation as far as possible in advance: hotel rooms, ferries and some flights are often released for sale during the previous year’s event. Although this may seem extreme, the Isle of Man only has so many hotels, guest houses, self catering units and campsites, and once they’re booked up, that’s it.
