Traditionally cured smoked herring from the Isle of Man

Moore's Kipper factory is an active landmark of Peel, situated on the west coast of the Isle of Man. They produce traditional, oak fired, chimney smoked Manx kippers.

A kipper is a whole fish that has been cut then soaked in salt and placed on sticks before being hung in large chimneys to be smoked. Manx Kippers are herring, but can be any fish found in great numbers and caught during their spawning period. Fish during their spawning period are not usually good to eat fresh, thus they are smoked and salted to improve the flavour.

Moore’s kipper factory has been producing kippers since 1884 and are extremely popular in the Isle of Man. Perfect to have as a traditional English breakfast.

The factory spends much of their time producing the finest seafood and for this reason they unfortunately are only able to dispatch orders on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. UK Delivery only and you should receive your order within one to two days after dispatch.
