The Isle of Man is a golfer’s paradise and, if you want to indulge your hobby during your Manx holiday, you will have the choice of playing on eight 18-hole courses or one 9-hole course. There are even specialist companies such as Isle of Man Golf Tours, dedicated to making your Manx Golf trip as good as it can be.

One option is to travel over by ferry, bring the car, and load up with your own favourite kit. If flying to the Island and you don't want to bring over your own clubs, many locations can help you out with equipment hire in their on-site Pro shops. They can even rent you a buggy if you don't fancy the walk.

The beauty of the Isle of Man Golf trip is in the year round suitability to play, combined with the incredible Manx scenery and rugged coastal views. Add that to well-maintained courses scattered throughout the Island and you are sure to have a great trip.

If you want to brush up on your technique many clubs offer private lessons to bring your game up to a higher level. Some also have extra facilities, such as a driving range, where you can work on particular aspects of your game, or even just have a quick more relaxing practice session when time is tight.
