Manx 2 Day Trial

 

Motorbikes are a large part of Manx culture and history with the annual TT races drawing thousands of visitors each year. In addition to this the Isle of Man also has a rich countryside of rolling hills, off-road areas and plantations to explore. It is the combination of these 2 factors which result in the large number of trials events regularly happening on the Island.

One such event is the Manx 2 Day Trial which celebrated its 60th anniversary in August 2015. The event is one of the largest national trials in Britain, with over 200 competitors in sole and sidecar categories competing in 2018.

The trial takes the format of a traditional no-stop national trial and is aimed at clubman riders. The event covers up to 50 miles per day and around 40 sections.

The Manx 2 Day Trial 2024 dates the 13th and 14th of July.
