Events for all abilities

Saturday 25th July 2026:

Saturday 25 July 2026 opens the weekend with the Gran Fondo Challenge, a 30-mile non-competitive off-road sportive starting and finishing in Ramsey, featuring sections of the main Gran Fondo Isle of Man route.

The perfect entry point into multi-surface cycling, this pan-flat 30-mile course is ideal for gravel riders and mountain bikers alike. Whether you’re building confidence off-road or simply looking to enjoy the Island’s spectacular scenery at your own pace, the Challenge delivers an accessible and rewarding experience.

For riders taking part in Sunday’s main events, the Gran Fondo Challenge also provides the ideal shake-down and recce opportunity — a chance to test equipment, loosen the legs, and soak up the atmosphere ahead of race day.

Sunday 26th July 2026:

On Sunday 26 July, the spotlight turns to the Gran Fondo Gravel, a 60-mile end-to-end adventure across the Isle of Man.

Starting in Ramsey and finishing in Port Erin, this spectacular route takes riders from north to south via a demanding mix of tarmac, gravel, forest roads, green lanes, and technical off-road sectors. Designed for gravel specialists and endurance riders alike, it’s a true test of stamina, skill, and strategy — with breathtaking scenery as your constant backdrop.

Also taking place on Sunday 26 July, the Gran Fondo XC MTB offers mountain bikers their own 60-mile cross-island challenge.

Following the same dramatic north-to-south format from Ramsey to Port Erin, the XC MTB route delivers a thrilling combination of tarmac transitions, rugged gravel, forest tracks, green lanes, and technical off-road sectors. It’s a pure mountain bike adventure — demanding, immersive, and unforgettable from start line to finish.
