Isle of Man to Attempt World Record Pilates Class at Method’s Birthplace

World Record Pilates Class & Global Homecoming at Knockaloe, Isle of Man – 19th July 2026

Ramsey Crookall, with 34Moves and Visit Isle of Man, will attempt to break the world record for the largest Pilates class at Knockaloe, hosting a global Pilates homecoming. The current record is 3,486 participants. Top instructors from around the world will lead a fun, inclusive session suitable for all ages and abilities.

Knockaloe has historic ties to Pilates: during WWI, it housed the world’s largest civilian internment camp, where Joseph Pilates began developing his wellness-focused physical training system.

The quoted price is per person, based on two adult foot passengers sharing a Double room at the Penta Hotel - Douglas, for 2 nights, sailing from Liverpool on 18th July 2026. Price correct as of 10 March 2026.
