The Manx Mountain Bike Club offer a resource for mountain bikers on the Island discussing events, training methods and even selling second-hand kit.
In particular they are heavily involved in the Manx Telecom End to End challenge, Europe's biggest single day mountain bike event, which has now been changed to finish in the seaside town of Port Erin.
During your trip to the Island, if you do compete in an event or even go mountain biking solo, you can be sure of seeing plenty of ancient monuments and natural wonders. If you are flying to the island and are unable to bring your own mountain biking equipment there are plenty of cycle hire shops who will be more than willing to help you out.
