It all started with the Peel Ghost walk in 2000. This infamous tour became popular with tourists and locals alike, resulting in Isle of Man Ghost tours being formed in 2000. Now they offer a unique exploration of the Island for you and your family during your trip.
Currently walks are available around 4 of the Island's towns. Douglas, the Island's current capital includes haunted hotels, ghostly office, a graveyard and the old hospital haunted by the ghost of a Nurse.
In the North of the Island you can visit Ramsey and hear stories of Gibbs of the Grove, a haunted shop and a haunted ship built on the Island.
In Peel you can visit the Castle and tour around the dark alleyways of this old fishing town, hearing stories of the black dog, and a haunted school.
Finally you can tour around Castletown, the Island's original capital and home to the Kings of Mann. Here you will hear about hangings and punishments, the ghost servant Annie, and the last Manx witch to be burned at the stake.
All these tours offer a unique insight into the Island's history and culture and can perfectly cap off a day visiting the Manx Museum, House of Manannan or other cultural locations.
