Kennaa Riding club, based at the Kennaa Equestrian Centre can be found in St Johns in the center of the Isle of Man. The Equestrian Centre is set in 90 acres of Manx countryside and is an ideal spot to view some of the Manx wildlife without having to travel too far from the tourist destinations of Peel Castle and Douglas.
The centre also has 3 all-weather arenas, with viewing gallery and clubhouse offering hot food and drinks on show days. In addition they also have superb livery facilities and large American Barn stables. The nearby disused railway lines offer great hacking opportunities and a chance to enjoy the Manx countryside.
If your family enjoy watching equestrian events there are show jumping and dressage competitions on a fortnightly basis and affiliated shows twice per year. This offers a great contrast to traditional tourist activities such as visiting the Laxey Wheel, or House of Manannan in Peel.
