The 2024 Isle of Man Cycle Sportive will take place on the 21st April.
The 37.5 mile Snaefell Mountain Course is infamous for the annual TT races on the Isle of Man. High speed and with challenging hill sections, tight turns and an uneven surface it makes a great course for more than just motorbikes.
The Isle of Man Cycle Sportive is a cycle challenge on the Manx TT Mountain Course run in September and offers a real challenge to cyclists of all skill levels. Started in 2012 it is a result of the Manx International Cycling week where cyclists raced the course from all over the world.
The first option is to run 1, 2 or 3 laps of the 37.7 mile course for time. This can be done solo or in a relay team and starts at the pit lane of the iconic TT Grandstand. With electronic timing, TT course marshals along the route and support vehicles this race is a must for fans of Cycling and the TT races.
The second option is the 24 hour challenge and is simple in principle. How many laps can you complete in 24 hours? As well as being open to solo riders, this event is open to relay teams of 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 or 12 people.
