King Edward Bay Golf Club, located on the outskirts of Douglas, is a great spot for a quick game if you are using the Island's capital as a base during your holiday or even if you visit specifically to play a round or two.
Before arriving on the course Douglas is an ideal location to get some shopping done or visit a local site such as the Manx Museum or Steam Railway. Afterwards you can head back into town for some entertainment. The Gaiety Theatre offers regular shows and there are a range of bars and clubs to keep you entertained until it is time to head to bed in preparation for the next day’s round of golf.
The 18 round course King Edward Bay course offers, in addition to a great game, incredible views out over the Island due to its elevated position.
If you have taken a quick flight to the Island and have been unable to bring your own equipment over the Pro shop offers rental of everything you will need, from clubs and bag, through to a trolley and buggy.
Should you want a bite to eat during your visit the restaurant is open from 12 noon for lunch and from 7pm in the evenings, as well as offering Sunday lunch from 12 noon. The lounge bar offers a lighter service with bar food from 11am and specials at lunchtime.
