Speed is popular on the Isle of Man, with the annual TT races, Southern 100 and more. If you and your family want a taste of that experience during your holiday, but in a safer environment, then go-karting is one of the must-do events.
Based in Jurby Airfield, in the North of the Island, the "turn up and race" format offers an exciting counterpoint to the traditionally relaxed Manx holidays of indulging on the Heritage Railways or enjoying the local Museums. If you have a larger group, or are feeling that bit competitive there are specific race formats to keep you entertained as well.
The track offers everything for young and old racers to compete with an almost half kilometre track, full floodlighting for darker race days, and accurate timing and big screens for results so that even if you are not racing you can keep up with the action. If you do prefer just to watch there is even a heated viewing gallery, an ideal spot to get a few photos of the racing.
Safety for your family during the racing is vital so there are always plenty of marshals to keep an eye as you race, and all visitors get provided with helmets, gloves, rib protectors and any other kit required to ensure the day goes smoothly.
