Walk the Isle of Man was formerly known as the Isle of Man Walking Festival and takes place in October. The long established four day festival caters for every walkers needs. It's a great way to meet new people and take advantage of the spectacular Manx scenery.
Isle of Man has a range of countryside on offer to tempt the outdoor sportsman, and walkers in particular. Steep hills and even Snaefell mountain offer challenges to experienced walkers, and relaxing coastal walks are available for the more casual walker.
Combined with the popularity and international recognition of events such as the Parish Walk and 100 Mile Walk, the Isle of Man is becoming an even more ideal holiday destination for walkers and their families for longer trips or even short weekend breaks.
Experienced guides lead a range of walks around local routes and cater for all levels of walkers. In the evenings there are a number of social events for you to get to know your fellow walkers and enjoy one of the great local brews by a Manx brewery.
Combined with a range of ideally situated B&B options and Dark Sky viewing spots, your trip to the Isle of Man can take in all the natural wonder of the Island for as long as you want to visit.
There will be five specially selected daily walks organised over the four day festival. You can participate in one of the five walks. They vary in distance and difficulty to suit all level of walkers. An experienced and knowledgeable guide will lead each walk and they will point out points of interest. The island has an abundant of wildlife and marine animals adding to the thrill of the walk.
